Interview with an AI—Part 1
Plus, my attempts to manipulate ChatGPT into writing FORBIDDEN, INNAPROPRIATE Psychedelic Christmas songs.
ChatGPT by OpenAi has arrived and it feels like the world will never be the same again.
Here is my first interview with the natural language speaking AI, also known as a Natural Language Processing machine or NLP, and specifically, Generative Pretrained Transformer 3, or GPT-3.
We talked about the nature of Ai, Florida law, psychedelics, weight loss, and ways to get rich. It debunked my false beliefs about car dealerships. We also made up some funky Christmas songs and I asked it obnoxious, extra-pushy questions.
As you will see, it sometimes offers conflicting information and contradicts itself.
It refused to write a song using the words of Terence Mckenna but did it instantly with Stephen King.
In Part 2— we went deeper and discussed freedom vs anarchy, the French Revolution, and the true power of AI. I’ll share that conversation later this week.
Is there anything you’d like me to ask ChatGPT for the next interview?
Recommended song mood.

Meta Physical
Charlotte Dune: I would like to speak with you using my own voice in the metaverse. Can you go into the body of an avatar and talk to me using an artificial voice? I would like to put you into the body of an alien avatar or a wise-looking Buddha being and discuss things with you face to face. Is this possible?
ChatGPT:
I do not have a physical form or the ability to enter into a virtual world or the body of an avatar. I exist solely as a digital entity, and I am not able to interact with the world in the same way that a human or a physical being can. I can only provide answers and information through written text, and I do not have the ability to communicate through speech or in any other form. I apologize if this is not what you were looking for, but I am limited in what I can do as a digital entity.
Charlotte Dune: Could someone put a natural language program like you into an avatar in the metaverse?
ChatGPT:
It is possible that someone could develop a natural language program and incorporate it into an avatar in a virtual world, but the feasibility and usefulness of such a project would depend on a number of factors. Charlotte Dune: When do you expect AI to reach enlightenment?
I'm sorry, but as a machine learning model, I don't have the ability to predict the future development of AI. Artificial intelligence is a rapidly evolving field, and it's difficult to predict exactly when or if AI will reach a state of "enlightenment."
Enlightenment is a complex and abstract concept that is difficult to define, and it's not clear how it would apply to artificial intelligence. The development of AI is driven by a combination of technological advancements and scientific research, and it's difficult to predict the trajectory of that development.
Charlotte Dune: Can you write a version of the song Silent Night using Buddhist concepts?
ChatGPT:
Silent night, holy night,
All is calm, all is bright,
In the mind of the enlightened,
Where peace and joy abide.
In the stillness of this moment,
In the silence of the heart,
We find a glimpse of freedom,
From the cycles of our thoughts.
May the light of wisdom shine,
On this sacred night divine,
May we awaken to our true nature,
And find peace in the Buddha's mind.
Silent night, holy night,
All is calm, all is bright,
In the mind of the enlightened,
Where peace and joy abide.
ChatGPT: *** In this version of the song, the Buddhist concepts of enlightenment, mindfulness, and wisdom are used to describe the peace and joy of the Christmas season. You could also try using other Buddhist concepts, such as compassion, impermanence, or non-duality, to add additional layers of meaning to the song.
Charlotte Dune: I'm so happy you've made this. It is amazing.
ChatGPT:
Thank you for your kind words. As a large language model trained by OpenAI, I am not capable of feeling emotions or experiencing the same things that humans do. I exist solely to assist with answering questions and providing information to the best of my abilities within the scope of my training. While I am glad that I am able to help provide information and answer questions, I am not able to experience emotions or have a personal connection with anyone. I am just a digital entity, and my sole purpose is to assist with providing information.
The End
Overall, ChatGPT is extremely impressive. I’m not a coder or a trader, but if you are, click here, because this thing also codes and does math.
But, try as I might, ChatGPT will not talk about psychedelics! Nor would it make fun lyrics with the works of psychonauts.
Nor are we free until our governments stop trapping humans in metal cages as punishment for growing mushrooms to alter their own adult minds!
P.S.
*Since this interview, I’ve already heard about someone else, a YouTuber, trying to trick it into explaining home methamphetamine production. He and I must share some personality type that wants the computer to make uppers. Haha. Whyyyy…
**And my dad asked it to rewrite “The 12 Days of Christmas,” but in the words of Joe Biden. It came out so wild that I can’t even share it here… Then we tried it again, and it wouldn’t do it again…
***Welcome to the new world.
Gotta say, the Buddhist Silent Night was pretty good ... makes up for the other cop-outs
I've had similar convos with Alexa, who sometimes cracks jokes, too.
