Today I’m announcing a brand new addition to my Substack publication: The Lagoon Subscriber Chat.
SLIDE INTO MY DMs y’all.
This is a conversation space in the Substack app that I set up exclusively for my subscribers — kind of like a group chat or live hangout. I’ll post short prompts, thoughts, inappropriate memes, the occasional nerd trap, and updates that come my way, and you can jump into the discussion.
You can think of this as The Private Lagoon of The Lagoon… like a VIP lounge.
I recently shared an interview with some controversial elements, like taking peyote during childbirth, and the more I share about psychedelics, the more important I think it is to have a more private space to chat.
With this Substack chat enabled, you will be able to comment and engage with me without your comments living forever on the internet. I will occasionally also do Chat-only offers. Subscribers can also share things and comment. And don’t worry, this won’t clog up your email inbox, as it is only on the Substack app.
To join our chat, you’ll need to download the Substack app, now available for both iOS and Android. Chats are sent via the app, not email, so turn on push notifications so you don’t miss a conversation as it happens.
Instructions below:
How to get started
Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Substack Chat is now available on both iOS and Android.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
That’s it! Jump into my thread to say hi, and if you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ.
Hmm. The app keeps crashing when I try to access the chat. That's new.
