I ditched cable before Netflix was a thing, and the only reason I've contemplated leaving streaming services is when they start to feel too much like cable. For example, football. American football. This is not something I want to see, ever. So if I didn't have Prime for other reasons, I'd have ditched it. Max is pushing it with all the sports and reality shit cluttering my menu. If they'd even give me a way to curate what I see, I'd be happier with them. But they won't. All those apps are pieces of junk, and I'm surprised they work at all.

It's spending time with them that's tricky. As for friends over marriage, I mean. Marriage can suck really bad, but it can be very helpful, too. I've already got the fatigue. There are so many creators I love, and each asks for $5+ per month. I'd have to budget several hundred dollars to fund all of them, and I've designated that kind of money for living expenses.
