Hi folks, Christmas is nigh and I want to share some updates with you, invite you to a live event, and offer you a holiday giveaway, as well as highlight a few special opportunities for my fellow writers.
News News
First off, thank you for sharing your reactions to my new novel Acid Christmas with me! I’ve loved your reviews, feedback, photos, reels, DMs, emails, and support. Thank you SO much.
Also, if you are a Reading Raccoon or a paid VIPer member of this Lagoon and you signed up to receive the Acid Christmas goodies in the snail mail, you should have already received your special package from me. They even arrived on time to Canada, though USPS said they probably wouldn’t. A real Christmas miracle!
If you signed up, but haven’t yet received your package, please email me. I think they’ve all been delivered, but I could be wrong.

An Event: Cultural Futurist Event and Acid Christmas Reading
In other news, tomorrow at 4 pm EST I’ll be giving an Acid Christmas reading at a virtual salon discussion called Total Renaissance hosted by the Cultural Futurist. The Cultural Futurist is a great space, and I also attended their last salon on AI and Music, which was an awesome experience!

Also, congrats to Jennifer Marra who won the Acid Christmas giveaway hosted by Lainey Cameron, my Writers’ Support Group co-host.
Lainey is also currently running enrollments for an amazing book launch course called 12 Weeks to Book Launch Success for traditionally published and self-published authors, as well as a scholarship for the program. Apply by December 31st.
Before becoming a bestselling fiction author, Lainey did marketing for a big tech company. She 100% knows her stuff. I audited and reviewed her course and it’s fantastic and incredibly detailed. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to publish a finished book.
Likewise, author
, whose novels I love and who helped me edit Acid Christmas is offering a holiday sale on novel edits. If you need your manuscript edited, he is doing a flat-rate editing deal that is WAY below market value, but only for people who book before the end of this year.
And Speaking of the End of the Year
Folks, as Christmas draws near, I shall soon end my Acid Christmas-related transmissions to you. I’ve talked a lot about this new book, so thank you for listening and for reading! But, I swear, after Christmas, I’m done talking about it! Haha. At least until next Christmas, when I may reactivate like a vampire version of Mariah Carey and bring back Acid Christmas, along with the audiobook version, which wasn’t able to be finished this year due to the narrator getting too sick to complete the project on time.
In the new year, we will be moving onto more cool things in this Lagoon space, including a new psychedelic book ranking system I’ve developed with a talented Toronto artist using the proceeds from your paid membership! Thank you!
Plus, I’ll be finishing writing my next book, tentatively titled Under the Maloca, which will conclude my Psychedelic Love Series trilogy, and I’ll bring you along with me on that journey, too.
