You said you wanted a book about deadbeat dads, written by a deadbeat dad: I’m sure if a guy was disciplined enough to write a book, he’d be responsible enough to tend to his kids too! Unless of course this was later in life and he had matured and had regrets...

Though I think it’s also entirely possible for someone to be able to write books, but have no interest in caring for children. Sadly.

Yes, that’s what I was thinking, later with regrets. Deadbeat dads blow my mind, because I think as moms their behavior is unfathomable, yet so many men do it.
